Course content
This qualification has been developed to provide learners with an advanced knowledge and understanding of the practices and processes of rail engineering technologies. It covers the knowledge, understanding and skills that have been identified in order to be able to operate effectively in a job role within the Rail Engineering sector.
This course is largely classroom based but will involved some practical activity on our track set-up based at the Newham College Stratford campus. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

Whilst no prior knowledge is required a passion to work in the industry is advantageous.
Ideally you will need a Level 2 or equivalent in maths and English. Assessment will take place as part of the IAG process.
