Many people assume that apprenticeships are an easier alternative to full-time study—but in reality, they require a high level of commitment.

Apprenticeships are a brilliant opportunity to gain practical skills, but they require hard work, dedication, and the ability to manage your time effectively.

As an apprentice, you’ll need to:

Balance work and studyas an example, Work four days a week as an employee while attending college one day a week

Achieve the same level of qualification as a full-time study programme

Meet the minimum entry requirements – if you are aged 16-18 years old, you must have GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above. If you haven’t yet achieved these grades, you’ll be expected to study and pass English and maths alongside your apprenticeship. Importantly, you cannot progress to the final assessment (EPA) or complete your apprenticeship without meeting these requirements.

If you’re up for the challenge and ready to build your career, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

If you’re currently employed or have an employer willing to support your development, you may be able to start an apprenticeship without changing jobs.

For 16–18 Year Olds: Study Programmes

For Adults (19+): Vocational Courses

Develop industry-specific skills through flexible vocational courses, helping you secure future opportunities. These offer:
