Prepare 16–19 school leavers for the modern workforce and provide Adults (19+) with the qualifications needed to progress or retrain.

Our Study Pathways
T Levels:
The new gold standard in technical education, available in Health and Business Management.
Vocational:
Industry-led programmes that specialise in courses like Business, Digital, Hairdressing, Barbering, Beauty Therapy, Fashion, Textiles, Early Years and Childcare.
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL):
We provide a supportive environment for thousands of learners annually, from Entry Level to Level 2.
Language for Life & Work: We help adults and young people develop the communication skills necessary for employment, further study, and community integration.
Higher Education (Adults 19+):
East Ham is the primary hub for Newham College’s Higher Education offer. We provide an affordable alternative to traditional university, offering Higher Technical Qualifications such as HNCs and HNDs, that allow students to stay local while achieving high-level professional qualifications.
Vocational SEND Support:
Inclusive Education: Our specialist team at East Ham provides tailored support for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring access to vocational pathways and the development of work-ready skills.

T Levels
What will you study
Each T Level is equivalent to three A Levels and is designed in collaboration with employers and industry leaders to meet real-world job demands
You will:
- Study Core theoretical knowledge in your chosen industry.
- Learn Specialist skills relevant to your career path.
- Benefit from an extended work placement, giving you practical experience and professional contacts.

Vocational
What will you study
Vocational qualifications cover a range of career-focused subjects.
Courses are available at different levels, from Entry Level to Level 3 (A Level equivalent), ensuring a clear pathway to university, apprenticeships, or employment.
If you enjoy practical, hands-on learning and coursework-based assessment, a vocational qualification could be your best option.
