Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs)

Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are designed in partnership with employers to meet the needs of growing industries. They provide a practical, work-focused alternative to university, with direct progression into high-demand jobs.

Approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE). HTQs are Level 4 Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and level 5 Higher National Diplomas (HNDs)qualifications, equivalent to the first two years of a degree.
