Course content

The study programme includes:

  • Functional Skills Maths and Functional Skills ICT
  • Group tutorials and 1:1
  • Vocational taster sessions
  • Work experience in local industries and abroad are also available

You will be taught through classroom activities and presentation.

You will complete an Ascentis ESOL qualification in Speaking and Listening, Reading and Writing and Edexcel Pearson qualifications in Functional Skills Maths and Functional Skills ICT.

The Young ESOL study programme is designed for students aged 16-18 and is suitable for non-native speakers of English who would like to improve their English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening

This is a full-time programme and courses are offered from Pre-Entry Level to Level 1.
