Entry requirements

  • To be 19 or above
  • Can read and communicate clearly and accurately enough to meet the requirements of the training
  • Hold a qualification which confirms a minimum of Level 2 in mathematics and English.
  • Hold a qualification in the subject that you wish to teach/are teaching. For academic subjects you are expected to hold a degree in your subject specialism. For vocational subjects it is expected that you be qualified to at least one level above the level you intend to teach.
  • Have access to 100 teaching practice hours.
