About the course
This two-year, full-time T Level is equivalent to three A Levels and is designed for students who want to build a career in software development, digital production or IT systems design. You’ll gain advanced technical knowledge and practical experience through classroom learning and a substantial industry placement with an employer.

Entry requirements
- GCSE profile: Minimum of 6 GCSEs at grade 4 or above.
- Subject-specific grades: English Language and Mathematics at grade 5 or above.
- Suitability: Best suited to students with strong problem-solving, analytical and creative thinking skills who are interested in pursuing a career in software development, web design, or digital technologies.
- Additional guidance: This T Level combines classroom-based study with an industry placement, giving you the opportunity to apply your digital skills in a real working environment.
Progression
Successful completion of this T Level can lead to university-level study or a higher-level apprenticeship in Computing, Software Engineering, or Digital Technologies.
