Entry requirements

  • GCSE profile: Successful completion of a range of GCSEs, including Mathematics at grade 3 and one other related subject at grade 3 or above.
  • Ongoing English and Maths: All students studying at Level 2 will continue to work towards GCSE English and/or Maths if they have not yet achieved a grade 4.
  • Suitability: Ideal for students interested in developing practical skills and technical knowledge in computing, IT systems and creative digital technologies.

Progression

Successful students can progress to an advanced IT qualification, such as the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology.

Further study can lead to university or employment in technology-related fields, including IT networking, systems support, software development, or desktop and technical support roles.
