Course content
The main focus of this course is to build your knowledge of care organisations, policies and the role of a Health and Social Care professional. The units covered in the course will introduce you to skills that are essential when caring for adults and young people. By the end of the course, you will know how to maintain healthy, safe and secure environments and understand the physical, social, emotional and psychological needs of adults and young people.
The work is internally and externally assessed and there are no exams.
Various assessment methods are used to ensure learning and teaching has taken place such as peer assessment, case studies, practical demonstration, role plays, presentations and written assignments.
