This Diploma has five mandatory units including Health and Safety, Electrical Installation Theory and Technology, Electrical Installation Methods, Procedures and Requirements, Electrical Installation Craft skills and Electrical Science and Principles.
If you see yourself as an electrician, this course gives you the foundation you need and covers electrical installation technology and principles, plus practical work. You'll get a broad introduction to most of the materials and techniques used in domestic, commercial and industrial electrical installations in the UK.
GCSE in both English and maths at grade 4 or above plus two other GCSEs at grade 4 or above
The course fee is TBC.
Provided you fulfil all of the course requirements, you may be able to progress onto a Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
