Course content

Our digital skills study programme is designed to give learners the opportunity to apply their research, skills and knowledge in relevant and realistic digital work contexts. This applied, practical approach means learners build the knowledge, understanding and skills they need for career progression in digital or further study. Our open structure enables the development of discrete skills such as applying for job vacancies, developing interview techniques and working within teams and allows for a programme of study to be created that combines skills and subjects to give a realistic learning experience.

During you study programme you will also study English and maths, weekly tutorial sessions with one to ones, participate a range of enrichment activities whilst also completing one week work experience within the digital technologies sector.

Our course enables learners to develop an understanding of a range of employability skills and knowledge and how to access them. This course will suit full-time programmes and compliment other areas such and personal growth and wellbeing and vocational learning.

Entry requirements

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 9-1, including English language and Maths.

BKSK assessment needed at entry 2 minimum for English and Maths.
