Course content
This is a one-year Criminology study programme which is the equivalent to one A-level. The purpose of the Criminology is to provide you with an introduction to criminal justice and to give a context for humanities learning. In total you will study four units Changing Awareness of Crime, Criminological Theories, Crime Scene to Courtroom and Crime and Punishment.
As part of your programme, you will conduct a two-week experience placement within the criminal justice system, or people who are the victims of crime. Your placement will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. You will also participate in a range of enrichment activities for the college and local community.

How much will this course cost?
This course is free for students aged 16-18.
