The Role:
Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and ready to make a meaningful impact? Newham College is seeking a dynamic Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team!
As the Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will lead initiatives to minimize our environmental footprint, champion sustainable living, and promote carbon literacy across our vibrant college community. Newham College, a trailblazing institution with multiple campuses across East London, is dedicated to fostering innovation and sustainability.
With the merger of Newham College with NewVic 6th Form College the need for the championing of sustainability will be even greater.
The Key purposes of the role are:
- Working with the Director of Estates & Capital Projects, lead on the implementation of the NCFE Green Strategy.
- Drive and embed environmental sustainability practices at NCFE resulting in a measurable reduction in the college’s environmental footprint.
- Advise, inform, prioritise and cost work on estate decarbonisation and lead its implementation with Director of Estates & Capital Projects.
- Act as a champion for environmental sustainability across NCFE.
