Entry requirements

Entry requirements

  • GCSE profile: Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 9–3 (or equivalent), including English Language and Maths at grade 3 or above; or successful completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification.
  • Initial assessment and interview: You’ll complete any required assessments and attend an interview to confirm the right starting level.
  • Suitability: Positive attitude, good attendance, and the ability to work safely and professionally with others in a health and care environment.
  • Additional checks: A clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required before starting placement in a health or social care setting.
