Course content
The main focus of this course is to provide the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin study of the applied science sector, and gives you the opportunity to focus on different aspects of applied science. The content includes scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, along with core skills like practical work, research, and report writing, skills that are essential to working in the scientific field.
By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in the principles of science, developed practical skills, and gained knowledge in areas like human physiology, laboratory techniques, and scientific investigation.
The work is internally and externally assessed through practical activities, coursework and assignments.
