Entry requirements

  • Qualification profile: GCSE English, maths and science at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent, plus a relevant Level 3 qualification.
  • Vocational route: BTEC Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Engineering, normally with the profile set by the college.
  • UCAS profile: Level 3 qualifications equivalent to the required UCAS tariff may be considered.
  • Adult learner route: relevant engineering experience, professional qualifications or prior learning may be considered.
  • English language: applicants whose first language is not English may need to demonstrate English language ability, for example IELTS 5.5 overall with reading and writing at 5.5, or equivalent.
  • Interview: you will attend an interview and may complete an assessment to confirm suitability for higher-level study.
