Entry requirements

  • Qualification profile: GCSE English and maths at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent, plus a relevant Level 3 qualification such as Health and Social Care, Access to HE or equivalent study.
  • Adult learner route: relevant healthcare, social care or support work experience may be considered.
  • Placement requirement: you must be able to complete the required placement hours in suitable health and/or social care settings.
  • Professional requirement: a DBS check and occupational health clearance may be required before placement.
  • English language: applicants whose first language is not English may need to demonstrate English language ability, for example IELTS 5.5 overall with reading and writing at 5.5, or equivalent.
  • Interview: you will attend an interview and may complete an assessment to confirm suitability for higher-level healthcare study and placement learning.
