About the course

This course introduces learners to the motor vehicle industry while building confidence, practical skills and knowledge of vehicle maintenance. You will develop basic workshop skills and learn how vehicles operate through practical activities.

The programme supports learners who benefit from a more personalised learning environment. English and maths are developed alongside your practical learning to prepare you for progression onto Level 1 study.

  • Suitability: This course is ideal for learners who would benefit from smaller classes and additional support.
  • Additional: Learners may be reviewed for progression onto Level 1 where appropriate.
