About the course

Chemistry explores the materials that make up our world and the reactions that transform them. From the air we breathe to the medicines we use, chemistry explains the processes that affect everyday life and global challenges such as sustainability and energy.

Progression

A Level Chemistry is essential for degrees in Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science and other medical or pharmaceutical disciplines. It is also valued for related degrees in Biochemistry, Pharmacology and Environmental Science.
