This qualification is designed for anyone interested in starting or developing a career in the motor vehicle industry. Whether you’re aiming to maintain and repair a range of vehicles—including cars, vans, trucks, or motorcycles—fit and replace parts and tyres, run your own car valeting business, or work safely with hybrid vehicles, this course provides the foundational skills and knowledge to help you get started.
This course is suitable for you if you have an interest in learning about the advanced maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and the various jobs that are available within the retail motor industry.
A minimum of 4 GCSEs grades 9-4 that includes: o English grade 4 o Math’s at grade 4 Students currently taking a Level 2 Certificate will need a minimum of a Pass in a related vocational subject. All learners progressing internally will need to ensure they have completed the level 2 intermediate qualification and demonstrated a commitment to study

Provided you fulfil all of the course requirements, you may be able to progress onto further training or employment in the vehicle maintenance sector.
