We welcome you to join our exciting range of careers and progression related events, including interactive tasters, practical workshops, careers support and networking opportunities. We also offer insightful sessions for parents and carers to support their young person in making informed decisions about their future careers.
Outstanding Workshops
Free interactive sessions for schools
All of our masterclasses offer information and advice about career pathways and progression routes and can be tailored to suit your students’ needs, learning aims and topics. We also seek to raise the aspirations of students from groups who are under-represented in particular courses. We also offer completely bespoke sessions for selected schools.

Book a class trip to the Fashion and Textile Museum
Our very own museum, based at the heart of Bermondsey, hosts a number of special events and exhibitions throughout the year ideal for aspiring fashion designers, textiles and art enthusiasts. Students will have the opportunity to view a live curated collection as well as meeting the designers behind the unique collections of work.
The museum is a short 8 minute walk from London Bridge Station, served by the Jubilee Line.
We are offering free tickets to Partner Schools for class trips and visits.

All of our activities and sessions are completely free and aimed to complement the government’s Careers Strategy and meet a number of the Gatsby benchmarks.

Supporting your sixth formers
Our Higher Education qualifications are available for your sixth form leavers. This provides a gateway for leavers to progress to university level qualifications and progress to careers in Computing, Construction, Engineering, Healthcare and Teaching.

Staff CPD & Networking Events
We welcome all schools to partner with us to build lasting relationships and impactful collaborations. Our aim is to create a strong network of professionals to support all learners in their next steps.
CPD / INSET Days
Our multiple campuses can be pre-booked for your staff CPD and INSET days. This offers an opportunity for a change of venue, access to our facilities across and for us to share our professional spaces with Newham colleagues.
