About the course

This course is designed for students who are interested in working with children and want to develop the knowledge and skills needed for a career in childcare and early years education. You will learn about how children grow, develop and learn, and how to support their wellbeing in a safe and caring environment.

The course combines classroom learning with practical activities, helping you develop communication, teamwork and professional skills required when working with children.

  • Additional: a DBS check may be required depending on placement opportunities.
