About the course

This is a challenging A Level and should be carefully researched before choosing it as one of your subjects.

Mathematics is about applying logical methods to solve a wide range of real-world problems. It underpins many fields such as architecture, business, engineering and science. This course combines pure mathematics, mechanics and statistics, developing your ability to analyse data, construct models and solve complex problems. A strong interest in algebra and trigonometry is essential for success.
