Apprenticeship units

Targeted training for the skills your business needs now

Newham College London offers nine apprenticeship units, providing employers with a flexible way to develop specific skills within their existing workforce.

Designed for employed learners aged 19 and over, apprenticeship units are short, focused training programmes that can help businesses respond quickly to skills gaps, emerging technologies and changing job roles. They are built from the knowledge and skills within existing employer-led apprenticeship occupational standards.

Training ranges from 30 to 140 hours and can be delivered over one to 16 weeks, making it easier to develop employees alongside the needs of your business

Apprenticeship units are fully funded for non-levy paying employers.

Levy-paying employers can use their levy funds towards apprenticeship units, subject to apprenticeship funding rules.
