Job Title: Graphic Designer
Salary: £30,777 – £32,694 per annum, including London Weighting
Location: East Ham Campus (base), with regular travel to other campuses and satellite centres as needed
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to help shape the marketing direction at Newham College! We’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our vibrant Marketing team. You’ll bring fresh ideas and provide crucial design support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging, innovative designs for both digital and print platforms.
- Work on a variety of projects, including print publications, digital promotions, event materials, and multi-channel ad campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver fresh, impactful solutions that enhance our communications and brand presence.
- Ensure consistent branding across all projects while working with different teams throughout the College.
About You:
We’re seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be a “can-do” person with great communication skills, ready to bring new ideas to the table!
Essential Skills and Experience
- A strong portfolio that shows off your creativity, with a focus on layout and typography.
- Experience in both print and digital design.
- Familiarity with designing for social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
Bonus: Skills in After Effects are a plus, but not essential!
