Course content

The study programme brings together knowledge and understanding (the cognitive domain) with practical and technical skills (the psychomotor domain). This is achieved through performing vocational tasks that encourage the development of appropriate vocational behaviours (the affective domain) and transferable skills, such as communication, teamwork, research and analysis, which are valued in both higher education and the workplace.

Delivery consists of:

  • Developing a Marketing Campaign
  • Personal and Business Finance
  • Recruitment and Selection Process
  • Work Experience in Business
  • Managing an Event
  • Exploring Business

As part of the programme, you will conduct a two-week work placement in a business environment. This will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge into a practical work setting. Assignments will also be completed in relation to your work placement.
